Stephen Moyer Says He Won’t Marry Anna Paquin Until 2020

Talk about being a commitment phobic! Stephen Moyer, who plays the vampire Bill Compton on the show “True Blood,” has been dating his co-star Anna Paquin since 2007, but he told Details magazine they won’t marry “until at least 2020.” It’s been rumored that they got engaged in 2009, so why the long wait for marriage?

It may have something to do with the show they’re on. Moyer also said that he was reluctant to get in a relationship with someone whom he works with, in case it blows up and they still have to work together.

“To get a pilot that runs to a series, it’s big s**t to people. And so to come along and go, ‘Oh, let’s have a quick f**k’ and then risk arguing and being a nightmare when you’re playing the two people who are together the whole time – that would be immature.”

Perhaps Moyer thinks the “True Blood” series will continue until 2020? Does he have a contract for that length of time? The third season of “True Blood” is scheduled to begin June 13, and the creator of the show, Alan Ball, has confirmed that the show will run at least through a fourth season
