| Michael Cera & Anna Kendrick: “Scott Pilgrim” in LondonContinuing to drum up interest in their new film, Michael Cera and Anna Kendrick were spotted out and about in London, England today (August 18). The “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World” pals looked to be enjoying their time overseas as they made their way to GMTV studios. During an interview with Movie Retriever, Anna confessed that “Scott Pilgrim” was a stretch for her artistically. "I feel like working on this film was like being a part of live-action animation. So much of the film is composed in a really specific visual language. You do feel like you are doing choreography even with just your dialogue. It was really challenging." "You always felt like you understood the end product but you were, in some cases, a little blind, and you just had to trust that it doesn't look goofy. You really did feel like you were being puppeteered. That was like nothing I had ever done before." "At times, it was really challenging, but it definitely exercised a muscle that you wouldn't get to normally. You just felt like you really had to be focused and on the ball all the time because you had to get it right, the camera had to be right, a light didn't fall... you felt like you really had to deliver. But I like being challenged like that." Source | |
