As BuddyTV reported previously, The CW is planning a marathon for The Vampire Diaries beginning Monday, December 14 for all those fans out there who may have missed an episode, for curious newbies and for those who just want to relive the drama. You can check out the details of the reruns here. You can also check out the recently released trailer for the much-awaited TV event below.
While you wait for the marathon, here are some interesting tidbits about the direction of The Vampire Diaries. Yesterday, we hinted on three things to look forward to when the show returns in January. This time, we'll shed light on the show's supporting cast, including newbie witch Bonnie (Katerina Graham), Matt (Zach Roerig), Caroline (Candice Accola) and Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen).
Although no one is really safe in Mystic Falls, fans need not worry about Jeremy biting the dust anytime soon in spite of the swirling rumors that he's going to die in the first season. A source tells Fancast.com that for the time being, "Jeremy is safer than most, but not danger-free."
It's also been reported that Jeremy will be dealing with all that Vicky stuff next year. "So far they're led to believe that she's just gone and screwed up. Eventually the truth about what really happened to her will come out and rock everybody's world. It's going to change a lot of relationships," reveals producer Julie Plec to TV Guide.
Bonnie, on the other hand, is still exploring her new found powers. "She tries to run away from it at first, but she's going to embrace it and let it control her so she can learn how to control it. She's going to be very powerful," Plec said. "In the meantime, we'll be digging into where do Matt and Caroline, these two unlikely partners, go in their relationship."
